Introduction
Step2Sahyog is committed to ensuring fair and transparent processing of requests for refund of donations. With the increasing frequency of digital payments, we recognize that donations may sometimes be made erroneously or donors may change their minds. This Donation Refund Policy outlines the procedures and conditions for processing such requests.
Requesting a Refund
Step2Sahyog expects all donors to exercise due care and diligence while making donations. However, we understand that errors may occur. To request a refund, please provide the following details:
- Date of Donation
- Amount of Donation
- Mode of Donation (e.g., Credit Card or Online Payment)
Your refund request should reach Step2Sahyog within 7 (Seven) days from the date on which you made the donation. The relevant date is one of the following:
- The date on which you made the donation online, electronically, or through other means.
- The date on which you handed over the cheque/demand draft to Step2Sahyog or someone authorized by Step2Sahyog for this purpose.
- The date on which you dispatched the cheque/demand draft to Step2Sahyog by other means.
Processing Refund Requests
Upon receiving your refund request, Step2Sahyog will:
- Examine the Request: We will review the details and reason provided for the refund.
- Seek Explanation: If necessary, we may request additional information or documents to verify the request.
- Make a Decision: Step2Sahyog reserves the right to approve or decline any refund request, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued.
Please note that the refund process may take between 7 to 30 working days, depending on the information availability from third parties such as Payment Gateways and Banks involved in the transaction.
